well. the american cancer society says that the trend of smoke-free colleges is growing. almost sixty percent of colleges in the united states have smoke-free policies that affect the entire campus. the cancer society also says that smoking is most prevalent in people between the ages of 18-24...college age people. this is important because it is affecting the people who smoke the most. we gotta know where we can an cannot smoke. i mean. i dont smoke. but i've got friends who do. so maybe they should make sure they go to a college where there aren't smoke-free policies or stop smoking before they go to a college that does and freak out.

polls show that many teens are using instant messaging to say things that are harder to say in person. twenty-two percent use instant messaging to ask people on dates or accept them. thirteen percent use them to break up with people. the only instant messsaging activity that adults beat teens out in is online shopping. this is important becuase instant messaging is a growing trend and is used by basically all teens. its a fastly growing communication device, even adults are starting to use it.
